Bio-Chris was born in Peoria, Illinois, but after college moved to the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago where he soon started his own CPA firm. He is now semi-retired and a full time Dixon resident. His passions are prison ministry, teaching and having people out on his boat.

Trent Johnson

Elder and Next Generation Director

Serves as an elder and provides oversight of the Next Generation Ministry

Trent grew up in the Bureau Valley area and married Kayleigh in 2013. They moved back to Dixon in 2016 to serve the next generation of the Sauk Valley area. Kayleigh Johnson

Kayleigh Johnson

Next Generation Director

Provides oversight of the Next Generation Ministry and serves as a consultant to the Leadership Team.

Kayleigh grew up attending SVCC and moved away when she married her high school sweetheart, Trent Johnson, in 2013. While raising their growing family, Kayleigh has found joy in blogging and in meeting up for coffee with friends, new and old.

Provides financial accounting for the church.

John has done it all - from well known musician in St. Louis to founder and former principal of Faith Christian School and more. Most recently he has retired from his long standing financial advisor business in Dixon, and he now serves the community in many ways while traveling to care for his children and grandchildren.

Sue German

Provides oversight for maintaining the physical aspect of the church.

Sue is a history teacher at Faith Christian School, where she also leads the yearly school short-term missions trips. Joanna Glenn

Provides oversight for all ministries connected with the church.

Joanna grew up in Akron, Ohio and has lived in Dixon for nearly 20 years. Of those 20 years, she has been leading the worship team for over 15 of those years.
